What is the New York Regional Training Center?

The New York Regional Training Center (NYRTC) was established to support and train athletes who aspire to successfully compete in the international styles of wrestling. The NYRTC affords wrestlers the opportunity to train with world class athletes, under the guidance of world class coaching. The NYRTC will provide support in all areas necessary to help our athletes accomplish their goals.

All athletes must meet USA Wrestling RTC minimum qualification criteria.

What is the USA Wrestling athlete criteria to participate in a regional training center?

a. Won at least one match at a USAW World or Olympic Team Trials
b. Placed top 8 at USAW Senior Open Championships
c. Placed top 8 at USAW University National Championships
d. Placed top 8 at FILA Junior National Championships
e. Placed top 8 at USAW Junior National Championships
f. Placed top 8 at USAW Cadet National Championships
g. Placed top 4 in the High School State Championships
h. Placed top 4 at the Prep National Championships
i. Placed top 4 at USAW State Junior freestyle/Greco-Roman Championships
j. Placed top 4 at USAW State Cadet freestyle/Greco-Roman Championships
